Family Resource Center

The Family Center offers several programs to enhance the lives of families. It also has information available to educate families on a variety of issues and family topics. The Family Resource Center is the hub for family related programs.

Programs Include:

  • English as a Second Language is offered to residents whose primary language is not english.
  • S.U.P.E.R. classes are offered to assist families in better communication skills between teens and their parents.
  • The Boys and Girls Club offer a summer program for kids during the summer months when school is out.
  • The Meth Alliance office is in the Family Center. The Meth Alliance provides free training to any County resident about the hazards of Meth use. The Meth Alliance also assits those already addicted in finding treatment resources.

  • Give Back programs: In exchange for classes, services or items at times parents or individuals would give of their time and volunteer with programs, classes or events.

  • Support Drug Free programs
  • Christmas programs-we would be willing to support the sign up of families for all the Christmas programs and run the Toys for Tots program
  • Alliance for Drug Endangered Children
  • After school Teen Activity Center
  • Coordination/Recruitment and training of volunteers for county

  • Coordinate with Dallas and Hiram Boys and Girls Club to help expand services
  • Work with non-profits and charitable groups to expand services and improve collaboration
